The Studio Ops Associate III plays an operational role in supporting ECP production by managing daily workflows, overseeing production schedules, coordinating product allocation, and maintaining ECP communications.

Amazon’s éShop Content Services ECP Management function oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of image production through External Content Providers (ECPs), ensuring high-quality product imagery that enables millions of customers to make informed purchasing decisions. This role requires strong attention to detail, workflow management, and problem-solving to drive efficiency and meet production goals. The role demands a higher level of ownership, strategic decision-making, and cross-functional influence. This role is responsible for end-to-end management of ECP operations, overseeing the production flow across a network of three ECPs in the MENA region. The ECP Lead plays a critical role in defining long-term operational strategies, optimizing ECP production capacity, and ensuring alignment with Amazon’s evolving media treatments and quality standards. They act as a key liaison between retail, supply chain, finance, procurement, and other partner teams, ensuring that product allocation, resource management, and operational efficiency are maximized. In addition to managing vendor relationships, the ECP Lead influences financial planning, contract negotiations, and cost control strategies to optimize budget utilization while meeting production targets. They implement scalable workflow solutions, drive process automation initiatives, and lead performance improvement programs to enhance ECP efficiency. This role also plays a pivotal part in the development and externalization of new media treatments, ensuring that Amazon’s creative teams can innovate on emerging visual standards while mature treatments are transitioned to ECPs. They may also lead a team of temporary or contract workers responsible for the movement of product, reporting and other logistical or operational requirements.
Furthermore, the ECP Lead is expected to anticipate operational risks, develop contingency plans, and navigate ambiguity to ensure business continuity. They drive quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with ECPs, establish KPIs for performance tracking, and work closely with Amazon’s legal and compliance teams to uphold contractual obligations and regulatory standards. As a key stakeholder in strategic planning and execution, they influence Amazon’s broader content production roadmap, ensuring that ECP operations remain agile, cost-effective, and future-ready.
