As a Textile Designer with 5+ years of experience, preferably in Wovens Fabric for the Export Market, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Design and develop woven fabrics according to brand and business requirements. - Research and analyze trend forecasts for colors, fabrics, prints, and concepts. - Transform trends into innovative concepts and collections for various product categories. - Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and conceptualize collections for upcoming seasons. - Create designs and colorways on Penelope for yarn-dyed fabrics. - Prepare digital seasonal presentations and innovation decks in the form of interactive PDFs for customer showcases. - Present design concepts, mood boards, fabric qualities, and seasonal collections to leading global brands. - Represent the studio by traveling to European and South Asian regions for presentations and brand interactions. - Mentor and guide junior designers in their daily tasks, creative development, and professional growth. - Manage customer-specific product and design requirements as per received briefs and directives. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's Degree in Textile Design from NIFT, Pearl Academy, or an equivalent institute. - Strong sense of design aesthetics, colors, and fabric development. - Excellent communication and presentation skills for interactions with international buyers and brands. - Proficiency in design software and tools such as Penelope, Photoshop/Illustrator, and MS Office. - Ability to lead a design team, foster innovation, and meet project deadlines. - Willingness to travel internationally for client interactions and presentations.,
