Job Objective:
As the Workshop Manager for the Vehicle Scrapping Division, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the vehicle dismantling and recycling process. Reporting directly to the Director, you will ensure efficient, safe, and environmentally compliant dismantling operations while maximizing the recovery of valuable materials and maintaining productivity standards across the workshop.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field
2. Minimum 6 years of experience in automotive workshop or recycling operations
3. Strong technical knowledge of vehicle components and dismantling processes
4. Experience in team management and workshop supervision
5. Understanding of environmental regulations related to vehicle recycling
6. Proficiency in workshop management systems and MS Office
7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
8. Excellent communication and leadership skills
9. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodology preferred
