Workshop Engineer

As an Engineer Workshop - Mechanical at the company located in Jamnagar, your primary responsibility is to execute workshop services related to machining, valve/PSV repairing & calibration, onsite support service, coordination of machining activity through outside vendors, and mechanical equipment overhauling. Your role is crucial in ensuring seamless and smooth operations while adhering to statutory compliance and organization's policies. Key Responsibilities: - Execute workshop services as per job planning for machining, valve/PSV repairing & calibration - Provide onsite support service related to machining - Coordinate machining activity through outside vendors - Perform mechanical equipment overhauling activities - Ensure zero HSEF incidents in Workshop and areas under CES workshop ownership - Timely completion of machining, overhauling (gear box & blowers)/repair work as per plant requirements (Routine & Shutdown) - Maintain availability of Heavy Equipment & heavy equipment allotment as per plan Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology (Mechanical stream) - 1-3 years of experience in industrial/Mechanical workshop maintenance field, with ~2 years of on-the-job experience preferred - Knowledge of mechanical maintenance management, inspection management, machining/production technology, various codes, standards, AutoCAD & metrology, workshop maintenance methodology, material handling equipment, and Health and Safety standards In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams such as Human Resource, Administration, Workshop, Planning, Security, and external stakeholders like Vendors, Equipment Manufacturers, and Contractors. Your knowledge and competencies in mechanical maintenance management, inspection, machining technology, and Health and Safety standards will be crucial for your success in this position.,
