Job Summary

We are seeking a Workday Benefits Implementation Functional Consultant to join our Digital HR implementation team. The consultant will be responsible for configuring, testing, and deploying Workday Benefits solutions that align with business requirements. While the primary focus will be on Workday Benefits, a foundational understanding of Workday HCM & Compensation is required to ensure smooth integration and data flow across modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support end-to-end implementation of the Workday Benefits module.
  • Conduct requirement-gathering sessions with HR and business stakeholders to capture benefits administration needs.
  • Configure Workday Benefits objects such as plans, programs, eligibility rules, enrollment events, and related integrations.
  • Collaborate with HCM, Payroll, and Security teams to ensure seamless integration of benefits data (e.g., worker profiles, compensation, and security groups).
  • Perform unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and troubleshooting during implementation.
  • Develop and maintain functional documentation, configuration guides, and training materials.
  • Provide

  • Stay updated with

    Workday releases and new Benefits features

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • 13 years of experience in Workday Benefits implementation or support.
  • Minimum foundational knowledge of Workday HCM — e.g., understanding worker data, organizational structure, and security concepts.
  • Strong functional understanding of Benefits administration processes (e.g., plan setup, eligibility, enrolment, compliance).
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional system configurations.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • Workday certification in Benefits (not mandatory).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in integrating Workday Benefits with external vendors (e.g., insurance carriers, wellness platforms).
  • Exposure to other Workday modules such as HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Talent, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of Workday Report Writer and Calculated Fields.
  • Prior experience in HR technology or HR transformation projects.
