Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Workday Functional Consultant

with expertise in

Workday Financials & Human Capital Management (HCM)

to lead

end-to-end Workday implementations

and provide strategic advisory services. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to drive

Workday adoption, optimize business processes, and deliver high-value consulting solutions

Key Responsibilities:

Workday Implementation & Advisory:
- Successfully lead at least
  three full-cycle Workday implementations
  in
  Financials & HCM
  , including
  Accounting & Finance, Audit & Internal Controls, Close Consolidation, Revenue Management, Expenses, etc.
- Guide clients in defining a
  business case for Workday transformation
  , including
  ROI calculations and value realization
  .
- Serve as a
  trusted advisor
  , helping clients align Workday adoption with business objectives.
Consulting & Strategy:
- Conduct
  Workday product selection, Fit-Gap assessments, and ERP transformation strategies
  .
- Work closely with clients to
  understand challenges, define IT strategies, and develop architecture solutions
  .
- Collaborate in
  pre-sales activities, proposals, and client presentations
  for Workday engagements.
Process Optimization & Solutions Delivery:
- Provide consulting solutions for
  complex Workday landscape challenges
  and ensure smooth execution.
- Guide clients on
  leveraging standard Workday functionalities
  while maximizing ROI.
- Develop and contribute to
  key assets, accelerators, and best practices
  for Workday digital transformation.
Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead discussions during
  assessment, design, implementation, and status reporting
  .
- Conduct
  intelligent conversations
  to guide clients through best-practice
  project scoping and delivery
  .
- Ensure seamless collaboration between
  business, functional teams, and developers
  to deliver on agreed timelines.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

8+ years
of experience in
Workday Financials & HCM
.
Proven expertise in
end-to-end Workday implementations
(at least
3 full-cycle projects
).
Strong experience in
Workday adoption strategies, business case development, and ROI analysis
.
Hands-on experience in
ERP advisory work, including Fit-Gap analysis and product selection
.
Deep understanding of
Workday best practices
and how to optimize standard functionalities.
Ability to manage
client relationships, lead discussions, and drive strategic initiatives
.

Preferred Qualifications:

Workday Certifications in
Financials & HCM
.
Prior experience in
Workday pre-sales, proposals, and consulting assets development
.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a
consulting mindset
.
