WordPress Web Developer Digital Marketing Department About the Role We re seeking an experienced WordPress Web Developer to join our Marketing Department. This role will be responsible for creating websites both for our own products and for our clients. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with a consumer-focused mindset to build engaging, high-performing WordPress and WooCommerce websites with seamless marketing integrations. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites with custom themes and plugins for both company products and client projects Implement and customize WooCommerce for e-commerce functionality with a focus on optimal user experience Create website designs and user journeys that address consumer needs and behaviors Set up and integrate various payment gateways to ensure smooth transaction processes Optimize websites for SEO, performance, and user experience Configure and manage analytics and tracking solutions to monitor consumer behavior and conversion paths Build automation workflows between the website and various marketing/communication platforms Collaborate with marketing team members to align website strategy with broader marketing objectives Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly Required Skills Experience Proven experience in WordPress development, including theme customization and plugin development Strong proficiency with WooCommerce and payment gateway integrations Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and tracking pixel implementation Strong understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization techniques Experience implementing and working with automation tools (Zapier, CRM systems, email marketing platforms) Knowledge of WhatsApp Business API integration and SMS gateways Ability to create responsive, mobile-friendly websites Strong understanding of consumer behavior and user experience principles Ability to translate marketing objectives into effective website features and design Experience creating websites that effectively represent brands and drive conversions Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Excellent communication skills to interface with clients and internal marketing teams Bonus Skills Experience with headless WordPress implementations Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js) Experience with Git and deployment workflows Familiarity with website security best practices Understanding of GDPR and other data privacy regulations Experience with multilingual website implementations What We Offer Competitive compensation package Flexible work environment Opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects Professional development opportunities Collaborative and supportive team culture
