What you’ll be doing:

• Design, develop, and implement WordPress-based websites, themes, and plugins to meet project requirements and objectives.
• Perform regular updates, backups, and maintenance tasks to ensure the security, stability, and optimal performance of WordPress websites.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors on WordPress websites in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maintain user experience.
• Implement optimization techniques to improve website speed, performance, and SEO rankings, including image optimization, caching, and code modification.
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins as needed to meet specific project requirements and client preferences.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and content creators, to coordinate website development projects and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Implement security best practices to protect WordPress websites against vulnerabilities, malware, and cyber threats, including regular security audits and updates.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of WordPress configurations, customizations, and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing and future troubleshooting.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in WordPress development and digital marketing to continuously enhance skills and expertise.
  

Who are we looking for?

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of WordPress projects.
• Proficiency in WordPress development, including PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development, customization, and optimization.
• Solid understanding of web standards, responsive design principles, and SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with website hosting, server administration, and version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
