WordPress Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a WordPress QA Specialist to ensure that the websites we develop meet high-quality standards before going live. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, experience testing WordPress websites, and a structured approach to identifying and resolving issues. Responsibilities: Conduct functional, UI/UX, and performance testing for WordPress websites. Test website responsiveness across different devices and browsers. Identify bugs, layout inconsistencies, and broken elements in themes, plugins, and custom code. Ensure SEO best practices and Core Web Vitals are met. Verify website security, accessibility, and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with developers and designers to resolve issues. Document test cases, issues, and improvements. Requirements: Experience testing WordPress websites, themes, and plugins. Strong understanding of cross-browser and responsive testing. Familiarity with website performance tools (Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, etc.). Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (a plus). Experience with testing tools like BrowserStack, Lighthouse, or WP debugging tools. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working with WordPress agencies. Knowledge of SEO and accessibility best practices. Experience using project management tools like Trello, Asana, or ClickUp.
