Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, with a basic understanding of WooCommerce integration. You will be responsible for ensuring the performance, responsiveness, and functionality of our web platforms, and will collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and content teams to deliver engaging and high-performing websites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including WooCommerce-based e-commerce platforms.
• Design and implement responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing website layouts.
• Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet business and project requirements.
• Manage content and product listings across multiple websites, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Optimize website performance, including loading speed, SEO, and overall usability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website-related issues, bugs, plugin conflicts, and technical errors.
• Perform regular backups, apply security patches, and ensure all sites are up to date and secure.
• Possess a basic understanding of APIs and integrate third-party tools/services as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, and content to ensure timely project delivery.
• Stay informed on the latest WordPress and WooCommerce trends, best practices, and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of WordPress CMS, themes, plugins, and customization.
• Basic knowledge of WooCommerce and e-commerce functionality.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Familiarity with website optimization techniques (speed, SEO, caching).
• Understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
• Ability to identify and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and integration practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of security best practices in WordPress development.
• Experience working with hosting environments and DNS settings.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From ₹1,000.00 per month
