Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using themes and plugins.
Build custom themes and plugins when required.
Work with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, etc.
Convert Figma/PSD designs into fully responsive WordPress websites.
Optimize website performance, speed, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related issues, bugs, and errors.
Manage website migrations, backups, updates, and hosting configurations.
Collaborate with designers, marketers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality projects on time.
Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Hands-on experience with custom post types, ACF, and theme framework customization.
Familiarity with SEO best practices and on-page optimization.
Ability to debug code and understand error logs.
Understanding of website speed optimization techniques (caching, image optimization, minification, CDN).
Knowledge of hosting environments such as cPanel, Plesk, or cloud servers.
Experience working with APIs is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with WooCommerce, membership sites, or LMS platforms.
Ability to create one-click demo imports for custom themes (strong advantage!).
Worked with ThemeForest-level standards.
Knowledge of Git, version control, and deployment workflows.
