**Position Overview:**

As a WordPress Developer at Digitalasia, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites. You will work closely with our design and development teams to bring creative ideas to life and ensure seamless functionality across all web platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about web development, stays up-to-date with industry trends, and thrives in a collaborative team environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. Collaborate with designers and other developers to create visually appealing and user-friendly WordPress websites.

2. Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.

3. Develop custom themes and plugins from scratch based on client specifications.

4. Optimize website performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.

5. Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to identify and fix bugs and issues.

6. Stay updated on WordPress best practices, new features, and security standards.

7. Assist in website migrations, updates, and maintenance tasks as needed.

8. Provide technical support and guidance to team members and clients when necessary.

**Qualifications:**

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

2. Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing WordPress projects.

3. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

4. Experience with responsive design principles and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).

5. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

6. Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices.

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

8. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

**Preferred Skills:**

1. Experience with other CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal, Joomla) is a plus.

2. Knowledge of front-end development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) is desirable.

3. Understanding of UX/UI design principles.

4. Familiarity with web hosting environments and server configurations.
