POSITION SUMMARYWe are looking for an experienced Senior Windows Administrator with over 7 years of expertise in managing and maintaining Windows Server environments (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022). Proficient in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and critical Windows services, with a strong focus on system performance, reliability, and security. RESPONSIBILITES Manage and administer Windows Server environments (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022), ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. Oversee and configure Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other critical Windows services. Utilize monitoring tools like SolarWinds and Datadog to track and enhance server health, performance, and availability. Deploy and manage web applications on IIS servers, including tasks related to application pools, worker processes, and SSL certificate renewals. Work with identity management tools such as OKTA and ADFS to streamline access and authentication. Manage various storage protocols (ISCSI, SCSI, CIFS, NFS) and ensure efficient data storage solutions. Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and leverage CHEF and Terraform for task automation and configuration management. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS) and provide comprehensive solutions to IT challenges. Support virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware) to optimize server and application performance. Administer File & Print Servers, NTFS Permissions, and manage Microsoft Clustering for highavailability systems. Adhere to ITIL processes and best practices for efficient IT service delivery and incident management. EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILL SETS 7+ years of proven experience as a Windows Administrator, preferably in a senior role. Strong expertise in Windows Server environments and core Windows services. Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like SolarWinds and Datadog. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, CHEF, and familiarity with Terraform. Comprehensive understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting methodologies. Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware is highly desirable. Strong understanding of identity management tools, storage protocols, and clustering. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
