Job Description

We are seeking an experienced WebMethods Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design, develop, and optimize integration solutions using WebMethods. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in WebMethods components, API management, and enterprise integration patterns. Key Responsibilities: Architect, develop, and maintain integration solutions using WebMethods. Design and implement API gateways, B2B integrations, and messaging solutions. Develop and manage REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and cloud-based integrations. Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring strategies for integrations. Ensure compliance with API security standards (OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS). Define and enforce integration governance, coding standards, and best practices. Ensure compliance with enterprise security, regulatory, and compliance policies. Ensure high-performance integrations using webMethods Integration Server, API Gateway, Trading Networks, and Universal Messaging. Optimize existing WebMethods implementations for scalability and performance. Troubleshoot integration failures, performance bottlenecks, and security issues. Work with business analysts, developers, and architects to gather integration requirements. Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to junior developers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system interoperability. Integrate WebMethods with AWS/Azure/GCP, SaaS applications, and on-premise systems. Required Skills & Experience: 7+ years of experience in Software AG WebMethods suite (Integration Server, API Gateway, Trading Networks, Universal Messaging, MWS, and BPM). Strong expertise in RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, XML, JSON, XSLT, and GraphQL. Proficiency in Java, SQL, and scripting languages (Shell, Groovy, or Python) for automation. Hands-on experience with JDBC, JMS, SAP Adapters, MQ, Kafka, and EDI/B2B integrations. Knowledge of cloud integration, DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes), and API security. Experience in performance tuning, high availability, clustering, and failover strategies. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, and version control (Git, Bitbucket).
