Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Web Programmer with strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, DHTML, and graphics design tools like Inkscape and GIMP. The ideal candidate should also have experience or willingness to learn programming languages such as Perl, Python, Java, Ajax, and jQuery. This role combines programming capabilities with SEO responsibilities, including keyword research, content optimization, and website analytics. Key Responsibilities: Programming: Develop and maintain web applications using HTML5, CSS3, DHTML with excellent command over these technologies. Utilize high-end graphics design tools such as Inkscape and GIMP for visual content creation. Write and maintain code in Perl, Python, Java, Ajax, and jQuery ; willingness to learn any missing skills is essential. Ensure clean, accessible, and SEO-friendly code development. SEO & Content Management: Conduct keyword research and map keywords strategically. Finalize pages and content incorporating targeted keywords. Perform accessibility analysis and provide code recommendations for optimization. Analyze and recommend improvements for URL structure and internal linking . Manage XML Sitemap creation and updates. Implement and analyze web analytics to monitor site traffic and ranking. Coordinate ePR, article submissions, bookmarking, and link submissions . Create meta tags for new content and manage monthly ranking and traffic reports . Monitor competition and implement corrective actions as necessary. Generate webmaster reports and handle relevant submissions. Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems , or a related field from a reputed university. Strong experience or foundational knowledge in HTML5, CSS3, DHTML , and graphics design (Inkscape, GIMP). Experience with programming languages: Perl, Python, Java, Ajax, jQuery or willingness to learn. Knowledge of SQL (MySQL preferred) . Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of SEO best practices and website analytics tools.
