Free Smile Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, dedicated to empowering underprivileged communities through education, healthcare, and digital literacy. Position Overview: We are seeking passionate and motivated Web Developer Interns to support the development and maintenance of our website and digital platforms. This internship is a great opportunity for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in web development while contributing to a social cause. Key Responsibilities: Assist in designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function. Maintain and update the existing website to ensure it is up-to-date and user-friendly. Collaborate with the design and content team to implement visual and functional enhancements. Optimize the website for speed and responsiveness across all devices. Troubleshoot and debug website issues as they arise. Ensure SEO best practices are implemented. Support in integrating third-party APIs or tools as needed. Requirements: Basic knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Familiarity with back-end development (e.g., PHP, Node.js) is a plus. Understanding of CMS platforms like WordPress is preferred. Enthusiastic about learning and contributing to a social cause. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
