Job Description

Role & responsibilities You will be working in a DevOps squad with an primary focus on testing and supporting the operations within the Way4 application, where you will ensure the software meets the highest quality standards. establishing and maintaining test standards, creating and executing test cases, and continuously challenging the status quo to improve our test processes. You will participate in different test types (e.g. system, regression, interface, performance and end-to-end testing), contribute to test automation and focus on new and creative initiatives. Preferred candidate profile You have 3+ years testing experience in an Agile organization You have a minimum of 5 years of advanced knowledge of testing methodologies and various testing types and phases Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g. ISTQB Advanced, CAT, CSTE) Experience in designing, managing and improving test cases and plans Ability to establish and maintain test standards and guidelines You are a flexible team player with good communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills You are comfortable in English, spoken and in writing You have a strong sense of pro-activeness, accountability and ownership A strong sense of responsibility when working in a critical production environment Willingness to participate in 1st and 2nd line support and work outside normal office hours (e.g., during releases and incidents) Perform root cause analysis and provide solutions for production errors Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) You have experience with test automation tools such as Robot Framework Scripting and coding skills in languages such as Python, Bash/Shell, or VBScript Experience in the financial world, especially in Cards services, is a plus Experience with the Way4 application (from supplier OpenWay) is a significant advantage Knowledge of (PL)SQL is a pre
