In India we have offices at Chennai & Bangalore, Bangalore is our strategic technology development center where we design & build protos for our customers. This position is a part of global supply chain strategy & will be closely working with all global supply change managers. Position: Sourcing Analyst (Junior role) Location: Bangalore, India Reporting to Strategic Sourcing Manager Support India and Asia Travel requirement : 30% Preferred Industry: Pressure vessel & Boiler Industries , Panel builders , EMS ( Electronic Manufacturing Service), Electrical Wire Manufacturing, Automotive & Industrial manufacturing. ** Please indicate your current CTC, expected CTC, Notice period in your resume. Nature of Experience: Experience in sourcing Electrical & Electronic Components (Actives , Passive , Switch gears , Control panels), Mechanical Components (Sheet metal, Boilers, Pressure vessels, Flanges, Tubings), Electro mechanical components (Wires, Cables, Wire harness , PCBs). Knowledge of general purchasing & sourcing processes within an ERP System. Must demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills while interacting and building strong relationships with suppliers / vendors. Ability to multitask, set priorities, organize and follow-through to meet deadlines. Experience in global sourcing, alternate component sourcing & Localization. Experience as buyer is must (Handling CAPEX procurement, IT procurement , Indirect procurement shall be added advantage). Experience in EMS is added advantage. Major Role and Responsibilities: Conducts RFI/Q/P (Request for Information/Quotation/Proposal) locally / globally). Negotiation of prices and terms with suppliers to meet specified quality, delivery and cost objectives. Drives parts and process qualification, in coordination with Supplier Quality team/ VAVE team. Preparing comparative statements. Should be good in costing. Supplier ON BOARDING. Creating purchase orders , ensure ON-TIME material delivery & other Purchase to Pay activities. Monitor Supplier delivery performance (SDP). Support SQE on audits, site visits, closing audit observations etc. Support part qualification & localizations. Manage part rejection & replacement. Signing LTAs , negotiation and development in coordination with Sourcing Manager and Contract Specialists. Support logistics , program managers & compliance team to get relevant documents from suppliers. Education and experience: Bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Electrical & Communication Engineering / Mechanical Engineering. Preferred 3 years experience in Global Sourcing & Buyer. Strong negotiation and communication / presentation skills. Understanding of supply chain management concepts such as inventory management, Import/export procedures and logistics. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Oracle and other relevant software tools.
