Warehouse Supervisor

As a Warehouse Supervisor, your main role will involve overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse operations in order to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. You will be responsible for managing warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, enforcing safety protocols, and optimizing operational workflows to meet organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure productivity and adherence to safety standards. - Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate records. - Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of customer orders. - Enforce safety procedures, conduct regular safety inspections, and ensure proper equipment usage. - Ensure proper maintenance and functioning of warehouse equipment to increase operational efficiency. - Implement and optimize warehouse processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs. - Work closely with other departments to effectively manage incoming and outgoing shipments. - Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse operations, providing recommendations for improvement. Required Qualifications: - Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field preferred. - Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse or logistics environment, including leadership role. - Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite; ability to analyze data and provide accurate insights; in-depth understanding of safety regulations; ability to lift and move specified weight. - Certifications: Valid forklift certification is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience operating various Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs) and knowledge of bin location warehousing and KPIs. - Strong, data-driven decision-making and problem-solving skills.
