Warehouse Manager

Experience: Min 8 Years in 3PL and Warehousing Industry.

Position Overview

The Regional Operations / Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end warehouse operations within the assigned region. This role ensures operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, people management, safety, quality standards, and customer satisfaction while optimizing cost and resources.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

• Manage day-to-day operations of all warehouses within the region.
• Ensure smooth functioning of warehouse activities through effective planning, system implementation, and process control.
• Oversee inbound and outbound accuracy, documentation, and record management.
• Ensure timely and accurate daily cycle counts and maintain overall inventory accuracy.
• Maintain warehouse hygiene, security, and safety standards.

2. People & Team Management

• Manage employees at all levels and ensure tasks are completed effectively.
• Coach, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve performance goals.
• Facilitate participation and consultation of all employees toward operational and safety improvements.
• Ensure training programs are conducted to enhance skills, awareness, and competency within the warehouses.

3. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with principal companies on all operational matters.
• Provide timely reporting of product-related complaints to V-Logis QA and Principal Company QA within one working day.
• Participate as a member of the Management Review Meetings.
• Support Safety Committee and Emergency Response Team activities.

4. Quality Management System (QMS)

• Implement revised or new QMS processes as released.
• Ensure record keeping as per SOP: Control of Records.
• Raise and manage change controls for any facility modifications or process updates.
• Facilitate audits and ensure timely closure of non-conformances.

5. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE/OHS)

• Maintain a safe and healthy working environment across all warehouses in the region.
• Ensure prompt action on hazards, near misses, safety observations, and improvement suggestions.
• Drive continuous improvement of the Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Management System.
• Facilitate safety campaigns and ensure compliance with OHS guidelines.
• Review HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment) and implement corrective actions where necessary.

6. Risk Management

• Identify operational risks and implement action plans to mitigate them.
• Make decisions and take actions to reduce operational, safety, and compliance risks.

7. Resource & Financial Management

• Responsible for financial and accounting oversight within the warehouse operations.
• Optimize operational costs while maintaining efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure adequate resources (manpower, equipment, infrastructure) are available for smooth operations.
• Authorized to sign invoices, permits, and operational documents from principal companies.

Authorizations

• Authorized to take decisions on local operational issues within the region.
• Authorized to sign invoices, permits, and documents related to principal company operations.
• Authorized to review HIRA and implement risk-reduction actions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Inventory accuracy and daily cycle count results.
• Cost optimization and operational efficiency metrics.
• Safety performance (incidents, near misses, compliance).
• Audit scores and closure of non-conformances.
• Customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Staff performance, retention, and training completion.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
