• In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, including quality assurance and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, with an ability to leverage data analytics for decision-making.
• Strong analytical skills, with a proven track record of using data to improve operational efficiencies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to engage and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
• Familiarity with lean warehousing principles and other continuous improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Kaizen, is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks:

• Leadership & Management:

• Lead and manage the warehouse operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Provide guidance and direction to staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to perform their roles effectively.
• Conduct performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed, promoting professional development and growth.

• Operational Excellence:

• Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently and meet compliance requirements.
• Design and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping processes to enhance productivity.
• Monitor warehouse operations through key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

• Strategic Planning:

• Collaborate with senior management to formulate strategic plans that align warehouse operations with broader organizational goals,including international expansion initiatives.
• Participate in the development and execution of long-term logistics strategies, including facility design, layout optimization, and technology integration.

• Inventory Management:

• Establish and maintain accurate inventory tracking systems to ensure real-time visibility of stock levels.
• Implement inventory management techniques such as Just-In-Time (JIT) and cycle counting to optimize stock and reduce excess.
• Analyze inventory turnover and trends, providing reports and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.

• Budgeting & Cost Control:

• Create and manage the annual budget for warehouse operations, ensuring all activities are carried out within financial constraints.
• Identify cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to enhance the operational efficiency and profitability of warehouse activities.

• Cross-Department Collaboration:

• Liaise with procurement, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to align warehousing processes with corporate strategies.
• Establish strong relationships with external partners and vendors to improve logistics and distribution networks, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products.

• Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure that warehouse operations comply with all relevant regulatory standards, including good manufacturing practices (GMP) and health and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement safety programs and compliance training to promote a culture of safety among warehouse personnel, minimizing accidents and injuries.
