Key Responsibilities : Inventory Management : Oversee the receiving, storing, and issuing of goods in the warehouse. Implement efficient inventory control measures to minimize errors and discrepancies. Supervision and Team Leadership : Lead and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and support. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and performance. Order Fulfillment : Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders. Collaborate with the sales and distribution teams to fulfill customer requirements. Logistics Coordination : Coordinate with logistics partners to optimize transportation and distribution. Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery. Warehouse Organization : Implement effective storage solutions to optimize warehouse space. Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse environment. Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, orders, and other relevant documentation. Generate regular reports to track warehouse performance and key metrics. Quality Control : Implement quality control measures to ensure the integrity of stored items. Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions as needed. Vendor Management : Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate terms, monitor performance, and address any issues. Technology Utilization : Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) or other technology tools for efficient operations. Stay informed about advancements in warehouse management technology. Safety and Compliance : Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
