Copy editors are the most important link between the author and the readers giving final touch to the book/journal article in terms of its content by paying attention to language, styling, spelling, grammar, punctuation, headings, styling and formatting of references. Indexing work, if known, is an added advantage. Roles and Responsibilities Enhance authors text to improve the overall readability of research articles. Eye for detail to identify poorly written text. Check for language grammar and in-house style (capitalization, spaces, quotation marks, dashes, vocabulary and spellings etc.) using tools Improving text flow. Raise author queries where required and incorporate changes accordingly. Desired Candidate Profile Educational qualification - PG - Any science background Effective English communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills. Flexible to work in rotational shift - 6AM to 1:30PM and 1:30PM to 8:45PM(No night shit).
