Job Description

· Menu Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about the menu, including specials and beverage offerings, and be able to answer guest questions. · Greeting and Seating Guests: Welcome and greet guests as they enter, present the menu, and show the special boards · Taking Orders: Assist diners in selecting menu items, take food and drink orders, and explain to them the uniqueness of sourdough and its benefits. · Upselling: Suggest additional menu items or specials to enhance the guest's dining experience and increase sales. Cleanliness and Hygiene: Adhere to health and safety guidelines for food handling and service, maintaining a clean and tidy appearance. · Serving Food and Drinks: Deliver ordered items to the tables, ensuring accuracy and prompt service. · Customer Service: Provide attentive and friendly service, check in with diners to ensure satisfaction, and address any concerns or special requests. · Table Maintenance: Clear empty plates and glasses, reset tables for the next guests, and ensure a clean and organized dining area. · Billing and Payments: Present the check, process payments accurately, and return change or receipts to guests. · Feedback: Ensure customer feedback is taken after the meal and seek honest sources to find the loopholes in any business and also helps to improve restaurant service and food to grow as a whole. · Team Collaboration: Work as part of a team, coordinating with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure smooth service. · Handling Cash and Tips: Safely manage cash and handle tips in accordance with restaurant policies. · Assisting Senior Servers: Support experienced servers and do additional tasks as needed.
