Overview:We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Steward to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dishwashing areas, supporting kitchen staff, and ensuring a smooth back-of-house operation. This role is vital to maintaining food safety and a pleasant working environment. Key Responsibilities: Clean dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and food preparation areas as per hygiene standards. Ensure all cutlery, crockery, and kitchen tools are washed, dried, and stored properly. Maintain cleanliness in all back-of-house areas including floors, walls, sinks, and trash areas. Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic prep work when required. Ensure proper garbage disposal and cleanliness of waste bins. Replenish kitchen supplies such as dishwashing liquids, towels, etc. Follow hygiene and safety protocols at all times. Requirements:Prior experience as a steward or in a similar kitchen role is preferred. Physically fit and able to work on your feet for long hours. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays. Team player with a positive attitude.
