Job Description

The Steward is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and areas. This role supports the kitchen team by maintaining a clean and organized environment, helping to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and work areas according to hygiene standards. Handle dishwashing machines and manual cleaning tasks. Collect and dispose of kitchen waste responsibly. Restock clean items in designated storage areas. Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks, if required. Follow all safety and hygiene procedures as per organizational standards. Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor. Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and used efficiently. Minimum 12th pass Prior experience in a stewarding or kitchen helper role is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Physically fit and able to lift heavy items. Team player with a positive attitude.
