Role Description A Production Merchandiser is responsible for managing and executing the entire order cycle in a garment or textile manufacturing context, ensuring products are efficiently and accurately delivered from order placement to final shipment. Typical responsibilities and qualification requirements for this role are outlined below. • Coordinate production schedules and timelines to ensure on-time order delivery. • Communicate and collaborate with buyers, suppliers, production, quality, and logistics teams through all order stages. • Track the progress of materials procurement, production, and shipment, identifying and resolving delays or issues. • Prepare and manage time and action calendars and bills of material based on buyer requirements. • Execute sourcing and purchase orders of trims, accessories, and raw materials, and follow up for timely deliveries. • Organize pre-production meetings and provide necessary documents, samples, and style clarifications to production and quality teams. • Approve sampling, printing, embroidery, and subcontracting processes. • Coordinate with quality assurance for inspections at various production stages. • Liaise with shipping and documentation departments for smooth order dispatch. • Analyze production data and generate relevant reports for management review. Qualification Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, textile/fashion merchandising, or related field. • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a production merchandising or supply chain role in apparel or textile manufacturing. • Strong organizational, multitasking, and analytical skills with attention to detail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and inventory/production management software. • Solid communication and interpersonal abilities for coordination across departments. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, costing, and quality assurance is highly desirable
