Storable is seeking a Vice President of QA & Automation to lead the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of quality across our global software development lifecycle. This senior leader will ensure that quality outcomes, automation-first practices, and risk reduction are embedded into every stage of product delivery, from concept through release.
As a VP-level executive, you will define Storable's quality vision, build scalable automation frameworks, and partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations to ensure we deliver robust, secure, and high-performing solutions across storage, marine, and RV & camping verticals. You'll drive a culture of "quality is everyone's responsibility" while ensuring dedicated QA expertise, tools, and processes set the highest bar for our industry.
What You'll Do Everyday
- Define and execute the enterprise QA strategy aligned with Storable's SDLC and business goals.
- Establish a "shift-left" testing mindset, embedding quality practices early in design and development.
- Serve as the executive owner for quality outcomes across all verticals and product lines.
- Build and scale automation frameworks for regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Ensure CI/CD pipelines include robust test coverage and quality gates.
- Partner with DevOps and Engineering to implement test data management, monitoring, and observability practices.
- Introduce tools and metrics that make quality transparent and actionable across distributed teams.
- Oversee functional, non-functional, performance, and security testing across all releases.
- Define and enforce standards for release readiness, defect management, and incident response.
- Lead root cause analysis for critical issues and ensure systemic fixes, not just patchwork.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Client Success, and Operations to align on requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Act as a strong advocate for the end customer, ensuring products meet usability, reliability, and compliance expectations.
- Build and lead a high-performing global QA and automation team across the US, India, and other hubs.
- Recruit top talent, foster an inclusive and innovative environment, and provide mentorship and professional development.
- Define and report key quality metrics (e.g., defect density, automation coverage, release confidence scores).
Use data to identify trends, improve processes, and continuously elevate product reliability.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 15+ years in software engineering or QA roles, with at least 7+ years leading large-scale QA/automation teams.
- Proven track record of defining and implementing automation-first QA strategies in SaaS environments.
- Expertise in CI/CD, cloud-native testing strategies (AWS preferred), and automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
- Experience with performance testing, security testing, and observability practices.
- Strong communication and executive presence, able to influence at ELT and Board level.
- Demonstrated ability to scale global QA teams, mentor senior leaders, and build strong cross-functional partnerships.
- Data-driven decision maker with the ability to translate technical outcomes into business impact.
- Hands-on technical depth (coding, automation, cloud infrastructure) preferred to complement leadership.
