Job Description

Objective: Oversee and enhance risk management frameworks, ensure compliance with global KYC/AML standards, and establish proactive measures to mitigate fraud and transactional risks. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity of the companys operations and fostering trust among stakeholders worldwide. Key Responsibilities: Global KYC (Know Your Customer) Management Design and implement KYC policies and processes in compliance with international regulations. Oversee customer onboarding and ongoing verification, ensuring adherence to jurisdictional requirements. Collaborate with technology teams to integrate automated KYC tools for enhanced efficiency. Global AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Management Develop and manage AML frameworks to comply with regional and global regulatory requirements. Lead the monitoring and reporting of suspicious activities to relevant regulatory authorities. Conduct periodic AML risk assessments and implement remediation strategies. Global Policy Management Create and maintain comprehensive compliance policies covering risk, fraud prevention, and AML guidelines. Ensure alignment with evolving global regulatory standards and industry best practices. Provide training and awareness sessions on compliance policies to internal stakeholders. Risk Management Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, transactional, and strategic risks across the organization. Establish risk control measures and maintain risk registers. Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing for key risk exposures. Fraud Prevention and Detection Lead the design and implementation of fraud detection tools and strategies. Monitor transactions in real-time to identify potentially fraudulent activities. Investigate incidents of fraud, collaborating with law enforcement or other external stakeholders when required. Transaction Monitoring Oversee transaction monitoring systems to detect unusual or high-risk activities. Define thresholds, parameters, and workflows to ensure effective surveillance. Analyse trends and patterns to enhance system accuracy and reduce false positives. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor s/master s degree in finance, Business, Risk Management, or related fields. 8+ years of experience in Risk Management, Fraud Prevention, KYC/AML compliance, or similar roles within FinTech, banking, or payment industries. Strong knowledge of global compliance frameworks. Hands-on experience with transaction monitoring and fraud detection systems. Key Skills: Analytical and critical thinking with attention to detail. Proficiency in compliance tools and technologies. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
