Job Description

As a Performance Test Engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing automation scripts using Python and Bash. Your role will involve understanding cloud infrastructure using VMware and OpenStack, and designing and executing stability, capacity, and robustness test plans to evaluate software performance under different conditions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and optimize automation scripts using Python and Bash. - Understand cloud infrastructure using VMware and OpenStack. - Design and execute stability, capacity, and robustness test plans. - Analyse test results and provide actionable insights to development teams. - Collaborate with developers and product teams to define performance criteria. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts for performance testing. - Monitor application performance in production and identify areas for improvement. - Document testing processes, results, and findings clearly and comprehensively. - Stay current with industry trends and best practices in performance testing. - Manage the end-to-end life cycle of VNFs, including deployment, scaling, upgrading, and retirement.
