Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Visual Designer to join our dynamic team at Beyoung, a direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the visual identity of our brand and driving creative excellence across all our digital platforms and marketing materials. You will be able to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to make sure that our brand vision is effectively communicated through visually compelling designs that resonate with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of visual design concepts that align with the Beyoung brand identity and values.
• Collaborate with the creative team to establish and maintain a cohesive visual identity that aligns with brand essence and resonates with our target audience.
• Create visually stunning designs for our website, advertisements, social media platforms, email campaigns, and other digital assets.
• Oversee the production of high-quality photography and videography assets that showcase our products engaging and aspirational.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualise and execute seasonal campaigns, ensuring that they are visually impactful and aligned with our brand strategy.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering their growth and development within the team.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in design, and integrate innovative ideas into our visual communication strategies.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to visual content, such as engagement metrics, website traffic, and conversion rates. Analyse data to identify opportunities for optimisation and continuous improvement in visual design strategies and tactics.
• Manage external agencies and freelancers as needed to support the execution of design projects.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
• 0 to 2+ years of experience in visual design, with a focus on digital marketing and branding.
• MUST HAVE -Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects; it is a plus if you have experience in the D2C or e-commerce space.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, or other design software.
• Experience working with photography and videography, including directing photoshoots and video productions.
• Excellent understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout design principles.
• Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and ideas.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality design work within tight deadlines.
• Passion for design and a deep appreciation for brand storytelling and consumer psychology.
