Role & responsibilities As a Video Editor at Bennett University, you will: Create marketing and admission videos to drive outreach and engagement Edit behind-the-scenes (BTS) footage, event after-movies, teasers, and trailers to showcase the vibrant campus life. Develop engaging social media content such as reels and videos, leveraging existing footage to craft visually appealing outputs. Produce compelling testimonial videos to highlight student and faculty experiences. Collaborate with the team to understand the target audience and deliver market-aligned content. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality videos, maintaining consistency with the university's branding. Assist in capturing original content through photography and videography when required (preferred). Shoot and edit high-quality videos with clarity for marketing purposes, covering on-campus events and day-to-day activities. Plan and set up video shoots on campus for promotional videos, commercials, reels, etc. Coordinate with the social media and digital team to ensure content meets their requirements. Ensure proper background, lighting, and camera angles that adhere to the specifications. Work closely with the internal team to establish a clear storyline and purpose for video creation. Edit multipurpose videos and motion pictures, ensuring quality audio-visual content with music, sound effects, and transitions. Incorporate creative approaches that maintain brand identity and exclusivity. Continuously improve content quality and stay updated with the latest photo/video trends. Preferred candidate profile Proficiency in video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro DaVinci Resolve After Effects Strong sense of visual storytelling with the ability to make data-driven, audience-centric edits. Creative mindset with strong storytelling abilities and multi-tasking skills. Adept in creative and digital processes related to photography and videography. Proficient in working with a range of equipment and their setup. Ability to conduct and manage YouTube Live events using DSLR cameras. Skilled in motion graphics using After Effects. A team player who can collaborate effectively and adapt to changing priorities. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. A keen eye for detail, color correction, transitions, and sound design. Experience in creating short-form content for social media platforms.
