Video Editor

This position requires working in our Indore office full time, 5 days per week. Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Video Editor to join our India team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in video editing, sound design, motion graphics and color correction. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, contributing to high-quality video production projects. What You Will Do Edit raw footage into polished final videos based on requirements and project guidelines. Ensure seamless transitions, timing, and pacing. Edit, mix, and sync audio tracks to match the video content, ensuring clear sound quality, and proper audio levels. Create and integrate motion graphics, visual effects, and animations to enhance video content, adhering to project specifications and notes from stakeholders. Collaborate asynchronously with North American based stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives Organize video and audio assets, maintain proper file naming conventions, and export final videos in various formats for distribution across multiple platforms. Review completed videos to ensure technical quality, consistency, and compliance with platform requirements. Adjust the color balance, exposure, contrast, and other color aspects of video footage to achieve a visually consistent and aesthetically pleasing final product. Coordinate remotely with team members in different time zones and adapt workflows accordingly. Use Adobe Creative software applications including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, and Frame.io. Other Duties as assigned Does this sound like you? Proven experience in video post-production with a strong portfolio Proficiency in video and audio editing software Strong understanding of video codecs, formats, and compression standards for various platforms (e.g., YouTube, social media, and broadcast). Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Creative mind and excellent storytelling skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and asynchronously with team members. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements. A passion for video production and an understanding of current trends in the media industry. Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Experience with remote project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Planner) and Microsoft Office Suite.
