Role Overview As a Video Editor at The Visual House, you’ll be responsible for editing campaign videos, commercials, product promos, and branded content for multiple clients. You’ll collaborate with producers, copywriters, art directors, and motion designers to craft compelling video narratives optimized for both digital and traditional advertising platforms. Key Responsibilities Edit video content including TVCs, digital ads, social content, brand promos, and case study videos Work from creative briefs and scripts to produce sharp, brand-aligned video edits Incorporate motion graphics, animation, and visual effects as needed Collaborate with directors, producers, and creative teams during post-production Manage post-production workflows including color correction, sound design, and versioning Stay current with advertising trends, editing techniques, and platform formats (e.g., 9:16 for Instagram Reels, 16:9 for YouTube, etc.) Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high creative standards Requirements 3+ years of experience as a video editor, ideally in an ad agency or production studio Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro; proficient in After Effects (motion graphics skills are a big plus) Strong storytelling, pacing, and visual sense Knowledge of social media formats and video specs (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) Detail-oriented with excellent file organization and version control Able to work on multiple campaigns simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment Strong reel showcasing ad or branded content is a must Nice-to-Haves Experience with 2D/3D animation, color grading (DaVinci Resolve), or sound design Familiarity with editing for different platforms (TV, OTT, social, in-store screens) On-set experience or familiarity with camera workflows Show more Show less
