Video Editor – Social Media & Long-form Content

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.)
• Work on both short-form (Reels, Shorts) and long-form content (vlogs, podcasts, branded videos)
• Add captions, graphics, transitions, and sound design that enhance storytelling
• Collaborate with the creative and content teams to develop engaging video ideas
• Stay updated with the latest editing trends, social media styles, and viral video formats
• Manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting tight deadlines
• Analyze performance and suggest improvements in video content and style
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in social media or digital marketing content
• Strong command of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent)
• Tamil fluency is mandatory; knowledge of Hindi or other languages is a strong plus
• Creative mindset with good analytical skills — able to identify what works for audiences
• Familiarity with current social media trends, meme culture, and editing styles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  

Bonus Skills

• Motion graphics, animation, or After Effects experience
• Knowledge of color grading and sound design
• Experience in creating short-form ad creatives
