Expertise in editing for short-form and mid-length videos (reels, promos, social media ads) Understanding of visual hooks, pacing, and storytelling rhythm Ability to match edits with platform behavior fast cuts, high engagement moments, retention tactics Strong grasp of color grading, text animations, and sound design to enhance storytelling Knowledge of ad metrics — understanding what kind of edits boost CTR and completion rates Ability to work closely with writers and creative leads for seamless execution of concepts Up-to-date with editing trends, meme culture, and audio trends Strong command over two languages minimum — English and their native language — both written and spoken, to bring cultural nuance and flexibility in writing
