Role & responsibilities : Assist in video editing (trimming, assembling raw footage, adding transitions/effects). Organize and label footage for easy access. Collaborate with the creative team to understand project vision. Implement feedback and revisions to improve video content. Assist in post-production tasks (sound design, color correction, audio mixing). Learn and use editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve). Help meet deadlines and manage multiple projects. Support production needs (help on set, camera setups, creating rough cuts). Quality control (check for errors, ensure high-quality output). Preferred candidate profile The ideal Video Editor candidate should have: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve). Strong creativity with an eye for detail and storytelling. Good understanding of video formats, codecs, and export settings. Experience with color correction, sound design, and basic motion graphics. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects. Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members. A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is preferred.
