As a talented and experienced Video Editor, you will be joining our busy production team to bring the director's vision to life through beautifully crafted film and video projects. Your expertise in modern editing techniques and ability to work within strict timelines will be crucial in creating broadcast-worthy content. **Key Responsibilities:** - Meeting with the director to understand the production vision. - Reviewing raw material to create a shot list. - Using modern editing techniques to manipulate film and video footage. - Ensuring continuity and scene value while editing shots. - Trimming footage and assembling the rough project. - Incorporating dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects. - Maintaining a logical sequence for the project. - Collaborating with the director and production team throughout the process. - Producing the final cut ready for broadcasting. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in film studies, cinematography, or a related field. - Prior experience as a video editor. - Proficiency in editing software like Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, and Premier. - Creative and artistic skills. - Knowledge of 3D composition and special effects. - Portfolio showcasing completed film productions. - Ability to work efficiently within tight schedules. - Capability to translate ideas into finished projects. In addition to the responsibilities and qualifications mentioned above, please note that the salary range for this position is between 180,000 to 320,000 per annum. This is a full-time job opportunity, and the work location is in person.
