We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join our E-commerce team. As part of the retail marketing department, you will play a pivotal role in producing high-quality video content for our digital platforms, including product promotions, social media ads, tutorials, and brand campaigns. The ideal candidate should have experience in video editing for retail or e-commerce, a strong understanding of visual storytelling, and the ability to deliver compelling content that engages customers and drives conversions. Key Responsibilities: Video Editing Production: Edit, refine, and produce compelling video content from raw footage to final delivery. This includes product videos, promotional ads, brand stories, tutorials, and customer reviews. Collaboration with Creative Team: Work closely with designers, copywriters, and marketing teams to ensure all video content aligns with the brand voice, marketing objectives, and overall creative strategy. Content Optimization: Optimize video content for various digital platforms (e-commerce website, social media, YouTube, etc.) ensuring it meets the required specifications and formats for each channel. Branding Consistency: Ensure consistency in branding, style, and messaging across all video content produced, adhering to the companys brand guidelines. Stay Current with Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques, trends in e-commerce video content, and best practices for engagement and conversion optimization. Post-Production: Handle post-production tasks including sound design, color grading, and adding graphics or text overlays to enhance video quality. Time Management: Meet project deadlines and manage multiple video projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality. Required Skills: Proven Experience: 2-5 years of video editing experience, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or a related industry. Proficiency with Editing Software: Advanced knowledge of industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar. Graphic Design Skills: Experience with graphic design tools like Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, or Illustrator to create custom motion graphics and visual effects. Creative Detail-Oriented: Strong storytelling abilities and keen attention to detail to ensure high-quality production standards. Understanding of E-commerce Platforms: Knowledge of how to tailor video content for online retail platforms and social media, understanding video requirements for websites like Shopify, Amazon, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Time Management Organization: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with various teams and stakeholders. Portfolio: A strong portfolio of previous video editing work, particularly in e-commerce or retail settings, is required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with 3D animation or motion graphics. Knowledge of video SEO practices for e-commerce. Familiarity with product photography and how to incorporate visual assets into video content.
