Position: Video Editor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded footage, applying artistic editing techniques, and creating high-quality video content that aligns with our brand vision. You will work closely with the creative team to produce engaging and visually compelling videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished video content.
• Apply transitions, effects, and animations to enhance video storytelling.
• Add music, voiceovers, sound effects, and subtitles as needed.
• Ensure videos are optimized for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
• Collaborate with creative teams to develop video concepts and scripts.
• Review and refine edits based on feedback from clients or team members.
• Manage and organize video assets efficiently.
• Stay up-to-date with video editing trends, techniques, and software advancements.

Requirements & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or After Effects.
• Strong understanding of color correction, audio editing, and motion graphics.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent storytelling and creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
• Familiarity with different video formats, codecs, and aspect ratios.
• Knowledge of basic cinematography and camera operation is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in creating content for social media, advertisements, or corporate videos.
• Knowledge of graphic design tools like Photoshop or Illustrator.
• A degree or certification in Film Production, Media, Communications, or a related field is a plus but not required.
