Job Description

We are looking for a talented Video Art Director to elevate the artistic vision of our video projects and bring creative concepts to life. As a Video Art Director , you will be responsible for the overall art direction of video shoots, ensuring a cohesive and compelling visual aesthetic. You will work closely with directors, cinematographers, set designers, stylists, and production teams to create visually stunning and brand-aligned content. You will also oversee props, costume aesthetics, and color palettes to enhance storytelling. A strong understanding of storyboarding, visual storytelling, and production design is essential. Experience in video direction is a plus. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the art direction for video projects, ensuring a high-quality visual experience. Collaborate with directors, cinematographers, set designers, stylists, and art assistants to create compelling visual narratives. Plan and oversee props, costumes, color palettes, lighting aesthetics, and overall visual composition for shoots. Lead and manage a team of art assistants, freelancers, and stylists to bring creative concepts to life. Work closely with scriptwriters and directors to develop storyboards and translate ideas into visual treatments. Maintain brand consistency and ensure all video content aligns with the companys visual identity. Research and incorporate trends in visual storytelling, cinematography, and production design to keep content fresh and engaging. Ensure smooth coordination of pre-production, on-set production, and post-production art direction. Provide creative solutions and problem-solving during shoots to achieve desired aesthetics. Oversee the budget and selection of props, wardrobe, and set elements in collaboration with the production team. Requirements & Qualifications Proven experience (4+ years) as an Art Director, Production Designer, or in a similar role in video production. Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in art direction, set design, props, color theory, and costume aesthetics . Experience with storyboarding, visual storytelling, and creative direction for video projects. Ability to lead teams of stylists, designers, and art assistants efficiently. Knowledge of cinematography, lighting, and composition to ensure high-quality visuals. Experience working with freelancers, production teams, and creative agencies . Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Familiarity with video production processes , from pre-production to post-production. Bonus: Hands-on experience as a video director or working closely with video direction teams.
