Job Description

1. Job Purpose To assist the Principal in providing strategic academic leadership and operational management in alignment with CBSE and international standards. The Vice Principal ensures quality teaching, discipline, compliance, and the holistic development of students and staff. 2. Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Leadership Assist in curriculum planning and implementation as per CBSE norms and international benchmarks. Supervise academic coordinators, class teachers, and subject heads. Monitor lesson plans, teaching methods, and learning outcomes. Review academic performance and develop remedial action plans. Administrative Duties Oversee daily school operations in the absence of the Principal. Support in school accreditation and CBSE affiliation processes. Maintain discipline across school premises in collaboration with the disciplinary committee. Ensure timely preparation and submission of reports, schedules, and statutory documents. Faculty Management Conduct faculty observations, provide feedback, and promote continuous professional development. Lead teacher induction and in-service training programs. Monitor attendance, punctuality, and compliance of teaching staff. Student Development Promote student leadership, extracurricular programs, and life skills training. Address student grievances and manage behavioral concerns. Monitor student attendance, academic progress, and disciplinary records. Parent & Community Engagement Participate in PTA meetings and parent orientation sessions. Communicate regularly with parents regarding academic performance and school policies. Collaborate with local educational bodies and community representatives. Policy and Compliance Uphold the vision, mission, and values of the institution. Ensure compliance with CBSE regulations, child protection norms, and Kuniya Group HR policies. Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all school matters.
