Vice Principal

As a Vice Principal at Hippocampus, located on Ponnur Road, you will be responsible for managing academic activities to ensure high-quality education delivery, both scholastic and co-scholastic. This includes facilitating in-service workshops to motivate and train teachers on teaching methodologies and curricula, as well as supervising and maintaining labs (science, computer, and language) and the library. Your role will also involve overseeing student enrollment, staff recruitment, and overall school operations as per CBSE norms. You will be responsible for formulating and implementing school policies and growth plans, monitoring school accounts, transportation, and staff management to ensure smooth operations, and maintaining discipline and decorum within the school premises. Additionally, you will actively gather feedback from students, teachers, and parents, taking timely and appropriate actions. You will represent the school in communication with corporate offices, BEO, DDPI, vendors, and service providers. In terms of infrastructure and resource management, you will ensure the regular maintenance and safety of school infrastructure. You will also be responsible for preparing cost-effective budgets and guaranteeing the optimum use of available resources.
