Job Description

Job Summary:

VFX Generalist

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality compositing using Nuke and After Effects, ensuring seamless integration of CG, live-action, and matte elements.
Create and refine CG elements, matte paintings, textures, and lighting using Blender and Photoshop as needed.
Collaborate closely with the VFX supervisor, CG artists, and production team to understand creative requirements and deliver shots on time.
Maintain consistency across shots and sequences, following established workflows and naming conventions.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide creative solutions for complex visual challenges.
Ensure all work meets the required quality standards and deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

2 to 5 years of experience as a VFX Artist/Generalist or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in Nuke, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Blender.
Solid understanding of compositing principles, colour channels, roto/paint, keying, tracking, and match-moving.
Experience with cleanup, including digital paint, rig removal, and projection techniques.
Knowledge of CG integration, lighting, rendering basics, and texturing workflows.
Good understanding of filmmaking concepts, camera, lighting, perspective, and colour.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Fascinated to learn new technology and tools in stereoscopic VR
Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
