Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc & A.H / M.V.Sc) or equivalent

Core Competencies

• Strong understanding of animal anatomy, physiology, pathology, and behavior
• Hands-on experience in diagnosing and managing medical and surgical cases
• Proficiency in performing routine and emergency surgical procedures
• Ability to prescribe and administer medications accurately
• Skilled in handling a variety of companion animals with care and confidence

Professional Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to guide and educate pet parents
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills, especially in emergencies
• Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, hospital, or similar setting is preferred
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including day/night rotations and weekends
