Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate veterinarians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in clinical diagnosis treatment and surgery of domestic animals and street animals. You will work closely with our shelter staff and volunteers to ensure the well-being of the animals in our care. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct routine and emergency medical examinations and treatmentsDiagnose illnesses and determine appropriate treatments or proceduresAdminister vaccinations, medication, and first aid to animalsOversee post-operative care and recovery of animalsMaintain accurate medical records for all treated animalsCollaborate with the rescue team for field visits and on-site treatment and also go in the Mobile Hospital for Treatment of animals on field Educate the public, volunteers, and caregivers on animal care and welfareEnsure compliance with animal welfare standards and protocolsParticipate in awareness and outreach programs organized by the organisation RequirementsEmpathy and compassion for animals, and a commitment to animal welfareBachelor’s degree in Qualification: B.V.Sc. & A.H. (Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry)Valid veterinary license registered with the relevant state veterinary councilMinimum 2 years of hands-on clinical experience in treating domestic and/or street animalsStrong diagnostic, surgical, and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilities Preferred SkillsExperience in working with NGOs or animal sheltersKnowledge of zoonotic diseases and public health concernsAbility to handle high-pressure situations and emergenciesWillingness to work on weekends and during emergencies RemunerationCommensurate with experience and industry standards.
