Role Overview: As a Venture Builder Intern at Second Spin by Enviu, you will play a crucial role in rescuing hotel linen discards and transforming waste into valuable resources. Part of a venture studio that focuses on building inclusive and planet-positive businesses, you will be actively involved in hotel outreach, coordination, operations, logistics, and problem-solving to contribute towards sustainability and circular economy initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Build a directory of 4/5-star hotels and identify key decision-makers for textile discard suppliers. - Conduct cold-calls or visit hotels to enroll them as suppliers of discarded textiles. - Coordinate collections of discarded textiles with logistics partners. - Track and manage inventory of collected and shipped discards. - Provide support in invoicing and operational workflows. - Address on-ground challenges such as scheduling and hotel onboarding. - Optimize processes to enhance efficiency in waste transformation initiatives. Qualifications Required: - Passionate about sustainability and circular economy principles. - Resourceful, hands-on, and comfortable with fieldwork. - Must be based in Bengaluru, Mumbai/Pune, or Chennai.
