Job Description

Job Duties & Responsibilities Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements (SLAs) with vendors to ensure optimal value and performance. Work with legal and procurement teams to draft, review, and finalize vendor contracts. Maintain up-to-date contracts and agreements for all IT vendors. Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key vendors and ensure effective communication between vendors and internal stakeholders. Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and ensure timely resolution of issues, escalations, and disputes. Monitor and track vendor performance, ensuring compliance with SLAs and other contractual terms. Review service delivery against performance metrics, track KPIs, and ensure continuous improvement. Prepare regular performance reports for senior leadership and provide recommendations for improvements. Identify potential risks associated with vendor performance, compliance, security, and financial stability. Develop and implement mitigation strategies for managing vendor-related risks. Ensure vendors comply with all relevant legal, regulatory, and security standards. Manage vendor-related budgets and track expenses to ensure that costs are in line with the IT department's financial targets. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and value optimization. Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., IT, procurement, finance, legal, and business units) to ensure vendor solutions meet the company's strategic objectives. Assist in defining technical requirements and ensuring vendor deliverables align with business goals. Oversee the full vendor lifecycle, from initial engagement through to contract renewal or termination. Conduct regular vendor reviews and evaluations to determine the continued suitability of vendors. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT support, procurement, finance, and security, to ensure seamless Vendor management. Act as a point of contact for vendor related inquiries. Provide training to staff on vendor management processes and tools. Providing flexible, around-the-clock (24x7x365). Produce and Present weekly monthly reports to stakeholders Work on multiple projects within the companys project portfolio simultaneously EG: build team, Wan Team, Field Services Team Foster partnerships with customers, stakeholders and sponsors Provide administrative direction and support for daily project operational activities Keep current with the latest vendor updates, expansion opportunities, and technology directions, utilized in the Clients environment. Collaborate and consult with client, Vendor, internal team, partners and suppliers Exceptional customer management skill Excellent written/spoken English, and customer presentation skills Report and escalate to management as needed Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders. Recommend and implement improvements to asset management processes, policies, and systems. Competency Requirement Education or Academic Qualification – A minimum of a Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT vendor management, IT procurement, or IT contract management. Experience in managing large IT vendor portfolios, with a track record of successful contract negotiations and vendor performance management. MBA or advanced degree is a plus. Skills required (Soft & Technical) – Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse teams. Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. Critical thinking and problem solving Excellent communication and presentation skills (Written and Verbal) Computer literacy, especially in the Microsoft Office products and MS Project Excellent decision-making and leadership skills Strong knowledge of with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices and frameworks. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Deep understanding of IT services, software, hardware, and technology trends. Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a dynamic environment. Knowledge of IT governance, compliance, and security standards. Occasional travel may be required for vendor meetings and audits.
