Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vendor Development to join our company Boatload Minds Private Limited. As a Vendor Developer, you will be responsible for handling a team, and customizing the solutions for the growth of the Organization. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Vendor Development, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Should be experienced in complete manufacturing sector for direct materials primarily (Sheet metal, Plastic & Rubber). Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing and mentoring teams. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Expertise in vendor selection, contract management, and performance evaluation. Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and cost reduction. In-depth understanding of industry trends and best practices in vendor management. Bachelor of Engineering (BE) Degree - Regular (required) Proven track record in driving vendor performance and process optimization. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team to drive effective vendor development and relationship management strategies. Identify, assess, and onboard new vendors that align with the companys business requirements and quality standards. Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve favorable outcomes and cost efficiencies. Develop and implement tailored solutions to enhance vendor performance, quality, and operational efficiency. Monitor vendor performance, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure consistency and reliability. Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key vendors to support business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless coordination of vendor services and product delivery.
