As a Backup Administrator L2, you will be responsible for managing tasks related to Data Domain, Cyber Recovery/AIR-GAP solutions, Veritas NetBackup, and Tape Library technologies. With 8-10 years of total experience including 2-3 years in the relevant domain, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of data stored on Dell Data Domain systems through regular backups, maintenance, and optimization. Your primary responsibilities will include administering Dell Data Domain systems, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, configuring backup policies, and enhancing backup schedules to maximize efficiency. You will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to troubleshoot complex issues and provide advanced support for incident resolution. Additionally, you will participate in disaster recovery planning efforts, regularly test backup systems, monitor storage capacity usage, forecast future requirements, and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. Your role will also involve generating detailed reports on Data Domain utilization, Cybersense, and backup status, conducting preventive maintenance activities, and sharing knowledge with team members to enhance collective skills and expertise. This is a full-time position located in Mumbai with a rotational shift schedule. As part of the benefits package, Provident Fund will be provided.
